BEST BBQ IN ATHENS!! I've spent my whole life in the south, and as any southerner will tell you it's hard to find a BBQ joint that does everything well. It's usually price, portions, taste - pick two. BUT Boss Dawg has it all!! Portions are good, price is awesome, and the taste is seriously the best in Athens. Not to mention, we're about halfway through their menu and haven't had anything bad yet.
They do change their menu frequently and offer new items, so make sure to check their FB page before ordering. But they always have the staples in there.

Another company was going to cater our wedding reception and had to cancel two weeks before the event. We saw that Boss Dawg offered catering so we ate dinner there to give it a try and we were sold. We spoke to the owner after dinner and told her what we were looking for and they said "we got you!" They brought the food on time, it was all served hot in aluminum serving pans, the servings were more than enough (we expected 30 people, ordered for 35, and had plenty left over), and it was very affordable. The brisket, chicken, collards, mashed potatoes, salad, cornbread, and tea were all so yummy! Our guests had happy tummies! We highly recommend Boss Dawg for both dining in and catering.
